Show passers-by you’re hiking the MCT with these Trail Gate original button badges.
Attach these button badges to your hat or other clothing and let others know you’re hiking the Michinoku Coastal Trail. It would be fun to run into another hiker on the MCT and realize―hey! We’re wearing the same badge!
The button badges also have a small stand attached to them, so you can not only wear them, you can display them as part of a collection.
There are four original button badge designs.
A Type: Michinoku Coastal Trail
Shows the Pacific coastline and the Michinoku Coastal Trail course in a striking green and blue. This is the most popular design, possibly because it’s most obviously about the Michinoku Coastal Trail.
B Type: MTC x HDP
This button badge shows a friendly combination of the logos for Michinoku Trail Club and Hiker’s Depot, since Trail Gate is a joint effort with Hiker’s Depot in Mitaka, Tokyo. Like the “Michinoku Coastal Trail” design, this badge’s striking design is also in a brightly contrasting green and blue. This badge had been sold out, but we’ve added new stock for the opening of this online store.
C Type: Hit the Trail!
Let this button badge inspire you to get outdoors, breathe in the fresh air and “Hit the Trail!” In this refreshing design, green footprints wander over a white background.
D Type: TRAIL GATE
The hiker’s logo from Hiker’s Depot walks in front of the words “TRAIL GATE” on a white background, along with the words “Yuriage, Natori,” which is where Natori Trail Center and Trail Gate are located, in the hopes that hikers will get to meet and know local people here. (Trail Gate’s name came from Yuriage, because one of the characters for Yuriage looks like the kanji for “gate!”) This badge had been sold out, but we’ve added new stock for the opening of this online store.
