Michinoku Coastal Trail Hiking Passport

You can use this notebook to keep a diary during your trip, to collect stamps, and more.

The cover is embossed with the Michinoku Coastal Trail route. This durable hardcover passport will be able to withstand a lot of hiking, writing and stamping without bending.

There are pages for each of the 28 muncipalities inside, so if you like you can write about the scenery you see, the people you meet, and the delicious food you had in each place. The pages are not lined or otherwise boxed in, so you can use each page in any way you like. This can be your one of a kind record of your journey.

The passport comes in two colors, a turquoise based on the color of the sea on the MCT and a green tea shade based on rural mountain areas. Definitely consider bringing the hiking passport as your “hiking companion on your next trip.

There’s also a special way to enjoy the trail if you have a passport: collect a town stamp along with at least two of the other various creative stamps set out at stores, minshukus and more in the area, and you can buy that town’s pin badge as a keepsake.
